Jeanette was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1995.

She began her legal career handling commercial and contractual matters, with a concurrent focus on litigation—primarily in the areas of probate and matrimonial disputes. Over the years, Jeanette developed a strong foundation in both advisory and contentious legal work, gaining valuable insights into diverse aspects of legal practice.

During her tenure at De Souza Tay & Goh, Jeanette played a key role in several significant real estate transactions. Notably, she was involved in the en-bloc sale of Eng Lok Mansion, which, in 2006, was recognized as Singapore’s most expensive collective sale site at the time. Her work in this landmark transaction further deepened her expertise and exposure in real estate and conveyancing law. As a partner at De Souza Tay & Goh, Jeanette was extensively involved in a wide spectrum of conveyancing and real estate matters, including sales and purchases of private and commercial properties, mortgages, and collective sales. Her comprehensive experience in this area positioned her as a trusted legal advisor to both individual and institutional clients.

In 2010, Jeanette established her own law firm, JTL LEE, where she continued her practice in both litigation and conveyancing. Her independent practice further strengthened her reputation for providing practical, client-focused legal solutions across a range of real estate and dispute resolution matters.

On 1 March 2019, Jeanette joined Acclaim Law LLC, bringing with her over two decades of legal experience and a well-rounded practice. At Acclaim Law, she continues to contribute her deep knowledge and skills in both litigation and conveyancing to support the firm's commitment to excellence in legal service delivery.

Joey is a graduate of the University of Birmingham, where he earned his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with Second Class Honours (Upper Division). He was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2021.

Presently, Joey serves as a Legal Associate in the Conveyancing Department of the firm. In this capacity, he provides legal advice and assistance to both individual and corporate clients on a broad spectrum of real estate matters. His work encompasses the sale and purchase of both completed properties and those under construction, part-share transfers, as well as various financing-related transactions, including refinancing, redemption, and mortgage arrangements.

In addition to advising clients, Joey has acted for several major financial institutions in the preparation and execution of security documentation pertaining to mortgage, redemption, and refinancing transactions. His experience in handling such matters has equipped him with a solid understanding of the intricacies involved in property financing and the legal frameworks that underpin these transactions.

Yanling represented both individuals and companies as a lead counsel in various conveyancing matters, namely sale and purchase of properties (including residential, HDB commercial & industrial properties – both completed properties and properties under construction). This includes advising on and drafting of options / sale and purchase agreements, sale / purchase of private / commercial properties, CPF usage, tenancy agreements, auction sale options, mortgagee sale options, Trust Deeds, part sale and purchases (decoupling), transfers pursuant to an Order of Court, refinancing, redemption of mortgage loans.

Yanling also represented financial institutions in the mortgage, refinancing, additional facilities and redemption of properties and in the preparation of security documents in relation thereto.

Prior to her focus on real estate practice, Yanling commenced her legal practice in matrimonial and family related disputes, by assisting in a wide spectrum of cases, including contentious divorces, judicial separation, division of matrimonial assets, custody, care and control and access disputes in all levels of the Singapore Courts. Yanling has also advised and assisted clients in Mental Capacity Act deputy applications, Grant of Representation applications, Lasting Power of Attorneys, and drafting of bespoke Wills.
